Angola independence day

When that dawn, the late President proclaimed, on behalf of the Angolan People, before Africa and the World our National Independence, a new country was born and the hope of an entire People was sacred.
This is, therefore, a moment of recognition and gratitude to all those who, from the most remote times of the beginning of colonization, fought, sweated, shed their blood and gave their lives so that, from the darkness of the night, the light of freedom.
The realized dream of Independence was, however, a means for achieving the ultimate goal of building a prosperous society.
