Acquired in 1880 from a drug dealer, the 19th century two-story chalet made of adobe, wood and a gabled roof

It was surrounded by balconies and balustrades and had a raised floor in the center. Already very ruined, it underwent expansion work between 1940 and 1950, under the direction of the architect Batalha, giving it the appearance of a Portuguese manor house. The current Governor's Palace continues to be located there
