Analysing the year 2005, honorable mentions and awards continue.

Several institutions continue to highlight our work as a reference in the tourism sector and in what we have been doing, not only in tourism, but also in the employability of young people and our social responsibility.

At the beginning of 2026, what I do is look back. Look at the journey made over seventeen years in Angola and almost sixteen years at Hoteisangola.com, a journey that clearly demonstrates the work that has been developed.

Many say that decorations no longer fit on the wall. There are many stored in drawers: honorable mentions, certificates, diplomas. There is a lot that this journey represents. Still, there are two recognitions that I end up highlighting in a special way.

Two remarkable recognitions

1) Decoration in 2025
The first, naturally, is associated with the celebrations of Angola's fifty years: the decoration received from the President of the Republic, in 2025, for the work carried out in favor of the tourism sector. This is a recognition that greatly honors and fills with pride, not just me, but the entire team that works daily to ensure that Hoteisangola.com continues to exist and grow.

2) Award in 2019
The second was, in 2019, the award for Best Tourism Promotion and Marketing Platform, awarded at the World Tourism Forum held in Luanda, an event that involved several national and international entities linked to the sector.

Note: It is important to highlight that these awards do not result from individual applications. These are distinctions awarded through public voting or identification, by leaders and institutions, for the work actually carried out.

The year 2026 will be the continuation of this path and this commitment. We will continue to work with responsibility, dedication and optimism, believing that Angola can assert itself as a reference and a leader in tourism in the southern region of Africa. We hope, every day, to continue contributing to this goal through the work developed by Hoteisangola.com.
