Monument of Peace
The work, built on copper and iron, began to be erected in October 2009, to honor the province and contribution of its inhabitants.
It was inaugurated three years later by former President José Eduardo dos Santos.
At 30 meters high, the infrastructure is supported by two arms, which raise the white dove, which symbolizes peace, into the air.
Data indicates that, annually, the monument receives, on average, more than 12 thousand visitors, both national and foreign.
