Kalandula Falls are waterfalls located in the municipality of Kalandula, province of Malanje, in Angola. The Kalandula Falls are located on the Lucala River, the most important tributary of the Kwanza River.
The Kalandula waterfalls, formerly known as Duque de Bragança, are the largest in Angola and the second largest in Africa, after the Victoria falls, between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Victoria Falls are 1.7 km long and 108 meters high. Kalandula Falls are 410 meters long and 105 meters high. Can you imagine the sound of water falling from this height? Like Victoria's, here the “smoke” also thunders! Kalandula Falls (80 km from Malange and 450 km from Luanda)
