Located 12 kilometers from the city of Malanje, it is considered a historical-cultural monument, with recognition of UNESCO, and it was built between 1951 and 1953.

Considered the cradle of Methodism in Angola, it holds in its genesis the trajectory of the national hero
It was in the 1950s that the first president of Angola, Dr. António Agostinho Neto, went to Malanje and worked in the health services as head of the secretariat.
As soon as Neto arrived from Luanda he had no money to continue his university studies, he was forced to go to Malanje where he attended services in Quéssua, his father as pastor of the Methodist church and for always attending services the missionaries gave him a scholarship.
Founded more than 70 years ago, it is today one of the emblematic places in the province of Malanje, considered the cradle of Methodism in Angola.
