Flora endémica da Serra da Chela – Tundavala
Barleria crabbeoides is a small flowering shrub endemic to the Serra da Chela region. It lives among rocks, granite cracks and shallow soils, adapting to the dry conditions of the escarpment. Its delicate bluish or lilac flowers contrast with the surrounding vegetation, making it one of the most interesting species of local flora. Its known distribution is mainly concentrated in the province of Huíla, being considered a rare plant of high scientific interest.
