The word "Ondimba", in the National Language means nyaneka crack in a limestone mountain, open cracks with a hill at the top.
For a long time it was thought that there was a great treasure there, which seems only a treasure of hope.
These stories were more popular during a period of great settlement among the Portuguese.
They carried out various research in the region and with it the desire to find minerals.

At the entrance to the cave, only water flows from a peaceful spring at the bottom of the cave.
The vestibule of the cave known as the “room of the lakes” (Timóteo1974. Pag.54) is surprising.
Inside we can see majestic stalactites in its vault, some more than one and a half meters high on the walls lined with beautiful alabaster cutouts. You can also see stalagmites that are stuck in the ground as if they were hiercitic figurines from an abandoned temple.

You can still see small lakes in a silent and transparent stream, which runs through rooms and galleries with different and bright colors, in some parts the color of old ivory, reminiscent of statues from Chinese culture. In fact, they look like mandarins stuck in that semi-darkness that the flashlights allow us to focus on.
The cave is one of the natural wonders of this Province and the country, which peacefully sleeps, waiting for the Huilano man to give it life and enjoy its encounters.
It is characterized by a mountain with some perforations that constitute the aforementioned caves, with 7 rooms inside as well as a lake that is located in the front part of the caves, providing beautiful visibility for tourists, being a gateway to visit.
