BUNJEI\'S MISSION

Founded in 1923 by the Swiss Willis and Pierge.
“Willis and Pierge Memorial Hospital” reads on the front of the Bunjei Mission Hospital structure.
“The hospital had more than 200 beds. There was a cafeteria and general services” The hospital was a “reference in the region” and in addition, “there was a school with more than eight rooms, two boarding schools, medical posts and houses for staff.
Two clinical posts. The population of the municipality is around 17 thousand. The most common diseases are malaria and acute diarrhea.
Basic and secondary level nurses ensure the activity.
The mission has five schools, three of which are for primary education.
