Rio Cutato Island

The direction of this river runs in a South-North direction, has its main source south of the city of Tchicala Chiloango ex Vila Nova and flows into the Cuanza river 110 km south of Cangandala.

It is in this city that the river Cuanza bends 90º, heading towards the Atlantic Ocean, The BH of the Cutato river is fully integrated into ZA 24-Planalto Central.
This ZA holds most of the land with the highest altitude (above 1500 m), considered a perfectly individualized geo-economic region and of particular importance as it concentrates an appreciable percentage of Angola's population.

Average annual relative humidity 60% to 70%, with maximums in January (75% to 80%) and minimums in August (30% to 40%).
