Alto Catumbela River

Born south of Cusse, on the Central Plateau, in the province of Huíla, it descends rapidly nearly 2000m, between red earth and granite rocks.
Part of the Catumbela River basin, the site stands out for the combination of nature, traditional culture, and tourism potential that is still little explored.

The waters of Alto Catumbela cross areas of great natural beauty, creating ideal environments for activities such as ecological walks, landscape observation, artisanal fishing, and outdoor leisure moments.
