Mirages Beach (Waterfront)

Miragem Beach is located in the city center, along the seafront where most of Namibe’s restaurants and bars are situated.
When the heat intensifies, the beach becomes so crowded that the promenade comes alive with a cheerful, summery atmosphere, featuring numerous street vendors and bars and restaurants operating at full capacity.

This is one of the main hubs and meeting points; everyone meets and recognizes each other here, and it is where many children head after school to cool off.
With street handicrafts and other types of commerce, a visit is essential, even during a brief stay in Namibe.
Every year, during the month of March, the famous Sea Festivals are held with various activities, marking the time of year when Namibe receives the highest number of visitors.
