The city gates of Menongue
The Kambumbe Dam is one of the natural spaces with the greatest scenic potential in the region. It should not be confused with the Cambambe Dam, on the Kwanza River.
Set within an environment of typical vegetation and calm waters, the dam is sought after for leisure moments, picnics, and direct contact with nature. Access is via a dirt track, which preserves its authentic character and enhances the sense of adventure.
This site can easily be included in an itinerary through Menongue. The Kambumbe Dam represents a clear opportunity to boost nature tourism in southern Angola, enhancing the territory and its unique landscape.
