Morena beach is located in Angola in the province of Benguela, city of Benguela. It is bathed by the Atlantic Ocean and is one of the best known in Angola. It is very popular because it is located close to the city in relation to others, it is also very visited for its beauty and its infrastructure and preserved.
It is the biggest symbol of the city of benguela, and one of the postcards of Benguela.
It is still possible to see how castaway, struggles to stay on the surface, in what remains of the old wooden pontoons.
Sitting on the sand, we can imagine the routes commercials coming from the previous one, carrying casks with a thousand and one products; or, in a painful exercise of abstraction, we can witness the forced embarkation of thousands of slaves on Benguela beach, en route to South America.
The place where the captives were closed before the trip, today houses the National Museum of Archeology.
