It is located on the south coast of the province of Benguela, 20 km south of Equimina. At the top turnoff, follow the instructions and turn towards Equimina, which you will find after 25 km.
At the communal headquarters, the trail continues to Baia dos Elefantes for another 20 km.
The beach is practically deserted, the whole sea, the whole sky, the whole time right there in front of your eyes.
The tranquility of this beach makes it impossible to imagine the hustle and bustle that was there a long, long time ago.
The colonial-era houses lined up along the beach were part of the Atlantic.
As you stroll along the beach and through the small town, you will find other testimonies of this past, such as the chapel of the beach or the administration house.
