Wanza Tarpon Lodge is built on stilts on the bank of the Kwanza River close to the mouth of the mighty river. Kwanza Tarpon Lodge has a central Restaurant with full bar catering their ten luxury bungalows. All bungalows are built to fit in with the natural environment while ensuring a comfortable stay in a picturesque setting. Kwanza Tarpon Lodge has 6 double en-suite bungalows and 4 en-suite two room family bungalows all with private verandas for enjoying an afternoon sunset. Bungalows are air-conditioned to allow for climate control during the hot summer months. Kwanza Tarpon Lodge is the perfect place to stay while exploring the surrounding area. In fact, Kwanza Tarpon Lodge is located in very rich fishing grounds with many tropical species in abundance within close proximity of the Lodge ensuring a fishing experience second to none. Species regularly targeted include: Giant Tarpon, Giant Threadfin, Cubera Snapper, Sailfish, Blue Marlin, Barracuda and Dorado. The Kwanza River offers many other fresh water varieties. Fishing at the Kwanza Tarpon Lodge is done from the beach, the banks of the Kwanza River or from one of the boats moored at the Lodge.
